We follow strict Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies in line with UAE regulations. Clients must provide corporate documents, proof of trade activity, and transaction details before issuance can proceed.
Validity depends on the contract, but SBLCs are usually issued for 6–12 months (renewable), while Bank Guarantees may run until project completion or a specified milestone. Extensions can be arranged if required
All Letters of Credit (LCs) arranged by DB Trusta are issued under UCP 600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits). Standby LCs follow ISP98 (International Standby Practices), while Bank Guarantees are typically governed by URDG 758 (Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees).
All instruments are issued and transmitted via the SWIFT network using standard message types:
MT700 for Documentary Letters of Credit
MT760 for Standby Letters of Credit & Guarantees
This ensures global acceptance, security, and traceability.
